I love this idea! I used a precooked Black Label Ham and sliced it into cubes. I then toss that with fresh broccoli florets, chopped purple onion, mayo, salt and pepper. I served over Pillsbury Freezer Biscuits. Very good. I will definitely make this again =)

I changed a bit of the recipe. I used dill pickles instead of sweat, I left out the Worcestershire and hot pepper sauce. It wasn't like what I remember as a kid but this is one of the only ham salad recipes I could find

This is how I've always made my ham salad as well, only using diced dill pickles and dijon. GREAT way to use up leftover Easter ham. I like to serve it with a homemade mushroom soup.

This is exactly how I make my ham salad with the addition of some fresh cracked pepper. This is so flavorful and delicious and a great use of leftover ham...YUM! :)
