Great for left over ham! I did not have an egg but otherwise, I followed the recipe. I will make this one again, the kids loved it.

After reading other reviews I changed this recipe up just a little bit for my taste.. I used two eggs and omitted the celery (I didn't have any.) Also used Miracle Whip instead of mayo and threw four sweet gherkins into the food processor instead of using relish. I tried it immediately after mixing and it was awful. I thought I was going to have to throw it out, but I recalled other reviewers writing that it needed overnight to blend, so in the fridge it went. Low and behold after 24 hours it was actually good! It's absolutely necessary to let these flavors blend!! Took it from 0 to 5 stars in one night :)

Yum, super easy and delicious. Followed the recipe except used a dill pickle (no relish in frig) and less mayo.

This is excellent! I was looking for a recipe similar to my moms ham salad, and came across this one. The only changes I did was used 2 hard boiled eggs, and double the celery, I used green onions for the red and instead of pickle relish I used 2 teaspoons of apple cider vinegar and 2 teaspoons of splenda (we are low carbing). This salad was absolutly to die for! The kids love it on sandwiches but I will be devouring it on cold cut veggies and on top of salad! So good!!

Delicious! I used green onions, dijon mustard, and jalapeno sweet hots for the relish. I chopped the ham in a food processor, which worked great. We made rollups with flour tortillas and romaine lettuce. Very tasty.

I wanted to like this but just didn't. I used leftover ham that was from a half ham. After I dumped the mayo/mustard mixture in & mixed it up, I realized it was way too much much & wished I had added half, stirred it then added more depending on how much I thought it needed. The real issue I had with this was the salty taste. I use the same ham in other recipes so I was surprised this had a really salty taste, I did not add any salt when I made this so it must have been the ham... no fault of the recipe but I think it wouldn't have suited my tastes even if it weren't for the saltiness.

I avoided ham salad as a kid but found myself craving it the other day. I used leftover Honeybaked Ham, sliced bread and butter pickles instead of relish, Dijon mustard, extra onion and celery, and less mayo. A quick trip through the food processor and it was done. Great with Ritz crackers and as an enhancement to grilled cheese.

Just like my Mom used to make. If you do not have ham available, substitute 16oz of bologna (approx 3 cups) chopped finely. Hot dogs also work in a pinch, but are a bit more work to chop.

This is the best ham salad I have ever made. I used sugar free bread and butter pickles and celery seed because I did not have the celery. Husband said it tasted better than store bought. I will make this again when I have leftover ham!
