Really EASY to make and a QUICK sandwich to GRAB and GO! I used my KitchenAid Food Processor and it made it so simple that it was even FUN to make. I did make a few adjustments: *More Onion - I added a whole onion. *Less Mayonaise - This may be due to the fact the the food processor is so powerful it all but makes it spreadable even before you add the mayonaise; I added about 1/2 c mayo.

My kids were getting tired of the Easter ham. This was a great way to use it up and gave the ham a whole new outlook with my boys. They liked it on crackers and thinly sliced challah bread toasted.

Excellent recipe!! Great on assorted crackers or as a pita sandwich. I made it just like it says and it was great. It gets even better the longer it sits!

This is the recipe my mother taught me decades ago, with the exception of the celery. Nice touch, Ms. Kulp, very nice indeed.

Yummy! I'm making tea sandwiches so I pulsed the ham in the processor to make it more spreadable and skipped the egg b/c I am also making egg salad. But the base ingredients and flavors are perfect! Thanks for the simple and quick recipe.

this ham spread is very tasty, and especially a super bonus for something made with leftovers. i was hesitant to go the extra step to boil the egg since i was already done in no time at all using the food processor but decided to go ahead. it helped keep the mixture together better than without it. i used 'mr mustard' which is a super hot and spicy mustard from up north and did it ever kick up the ham spread! this tasted great on crackers ans well as bread. thanks for a fiver!

I was looking for something different to take for lunch and spotted this.It had way more personallity than my grammas ham salad so I gave it a whirl. I'm so glad I did ! This is really good on Melba Toast. But I highly recommend letting the flavors blend in the fridge overnight.I also like texture so I finely chopped the ham rather than using a processer.

i added a little more of each ingredient but the mayo. It was a touch bland so I added celery seed and the flavor just popped. This recipe is a must keeper. Thank you for sharing it!!

Love this! I make it without eggs and use a vegan mayonnaise because my son is allergic to eggs, but the recipe is still fantastic! Good with crackers or as a sandwich! Yum...

This is really good. I was worried about adding hard cooked egg but I found it worked well in this. After I ground quite a few chunks/pieces of leftover ham I was like "OH MY GOD" I had a HUGE bowl of meat but once I added the other ingredients it all sorta condensed a bit (phew). I did add a bit more of everything since I had so much grnd ham. I also added probably about a heaping tsp of McComicks Jerk seasoning to give it a little different flavor. Do not add salt until you taste it mixed together 1st. You can tweak to your hearts content once you use ingredients as written. I also used a dijon mustard and some (rehydrated) dried cranberries. Even as good as it was right after making, I found it really rocked the next day. Took to work to share and everyone loved it. Don't skimp, use a decent bread, rolls or crackers to eat this treat on!

This is the best recipe! I made it exactly like Marcella suggested, and it came out perfect. My husband thought it was the best he ever had! As other people have suggested, I can see how adding a chopped jalapeno would be really good too. I'll try that sometime. It's just the perfect solution for a lot of left over ham!
