Ham 'n' Cheese Muffins

While living in Oregon, I frequented a local restaurant that served these muffins. They wouldn't share the recipe, so I came up with my own creation.

I LIKE to prepare this when I have leftovers of ham and day-old bread on hand. It's a delicious dish for brunch. Besides being so tasty, it's prepared the night before, which allows me more time to complete other dishes for the meal. I like to fix this fun dish when we invite our children and grandchildren for brunch. There's never a slice left! The recipe is quick and easy to prepare, using refrigerated crescent rolls to form the crust. The ham makes it hearty.
