Not bad, but for some reason, this came out bland. I think it may have been the quality of the ham I used. It was that canned, low-rent stuff you get in drugstores. The sauce, however, was delicious.

The sauce for this recipe is outstanding. I served it with another ham loaf recipe and it positively made the meal. I think it will make an excellent alternative to hollandaise. I can't wait to try it on eggs benedict! Kudos!

First try out of the recipe and I blew it! - sorry... Followed the recipe without any change BUT in rushing, neglected to add the brown sugar, ground clove AND ground mustard! Everything else was exact. Nevertheless, my 14 yr old son gave it a 4 and my girlfriend a 3. I thought it was an excellent dish and unique for a meatloaf in using ground ham (usually it's the same old ground beef). As well, I found the sauce made with whipping cream to be VERY unique - might double the ingredients next time to pull out even more flavor - HIGHLY recommended.
