4 navel oranges, peeled and sectioned
1/2 cup chopped red onion
1/4 cup lime juice
1/4 cup minced fresh cilantro or parsley
1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
1 garlic clove, minced
1 teaspoon grated orange peel
3/4 teaspoon salt, divided
1 1/8 teaspoons pepper, divided
2 teaspoons ground coriander
2 teaspoons ground cumin
1 pound haddock fillets

DIRECTIONS
For salsa, in a bowl, combine the oranges, onion, lime juice, cilantro, pepper flakes, garlic, orange peel, 1/4 teaspoon salt and 1/8 teaspoon pepper. Cover and chill. Combine coriander, cumin and remaining salt and pepper; rub over both sides of fillets. Grill, covered, over medium-hot heat or broil 4-6 in. from the heat for 5-6 minutes on each side or until fish flakes easily with a fork. Serve with citrus salsa.

Nutritional Analysis: One serving (1/4 of the fish with 1/2 cup salsa) equals 179 calories, 1 g fat (trace saturated fat), 65 mg cholesterol, 520 mg sodium, 20 g carbohydrate, 4 g fiber, 23 g protein. Diabetic Exchanges: 3 very lean meat, 1 fruit.

Not a huge fan of this recipe. The salsa was really good, but it was just too over powering for the fish. I did use tangelos instead of oranges, but I don't really think that was the problem. Maybe with a stronger fish it would have been good. Or the salsa on chicken might be tasty too.

I also drizzled OJ on the fish before broiling and diced the oranges for the salsa. This recipe is delicious and easy to make.

I'm not usually a fan of spicy foods, and the salsa seemed a bit much for me. Otherwise it was a nice combo of mild fish and juicy citrus.

This was delicious! I changed a few things based upon what was available. I used tilapia because that's all I had. I only used 2 oranges(everything else the same) and peeled and diced them for the salsa. I also sprinkled OJ over fish before broiling. Turned out great, even my 5 year old ate it!
