I was a little disappointed with this recipe. I thought it lacked flavor. I did not rate this any lower because I had to use lime juice from a bottle cause I did not have a lime on hand. Next time I will use a real lime, add more garlic and add cumin per other reviewers.

My husband and I have made this quite a few times and we love it! We do add some diced Jalapeno and more than just a pinch of Cayenne pepper to give it a little more spice. It's great and never goes to waste. Thanks Bob for the great recipe!

This was great! One of our good friends who "didn't prefer" guac even said that if his wife made it this way he "might" eat it more...that was after he finished licking the bowl!:) I omitted the cayenne since I don't really like hot. If you put the pit back into the bowl and cover with plastic wrap so that it's touching the guac it will stay green longer. YUM!

I thought this recipe was really good, but could have had a bit more zest. I would recommend adding diced jalapeno, and perhaps a bit more garlic.

The guac was good but was lacking in flavor in my opinion. I am very fond of a smoky guac I make and this was just flavorless in comparison. I think it could use almost double the salt, cumin, extra lime, and some chipotle chilis in Adobo would make it far more delicious.

I think I have tried them all and this is by far the best of the guacamole recipes. My husband likes it so well he does not even wait for me to make it he makes it himself - easy and delicious!

The BEST ever. I made a double batch & we just about licked the bowl clean. I didn't use the cilantro, garlic or cayenne simply due to preference. I increased the salt, tomatoes & used fresh pepper. Will make over & over again

I can't believe I even liked the guac made from the packets at the grocery store that my mom always made. For about 5 minutes more effort than the "flavor packets" at the store, you can have Cantina restaurant quality guacamole! Check out Pioneer Woman's recipe for Pico de Gallo and you'll have all the Mexican chip toppings you'll ever need! This guacamole is out of this world!

This is very close to my guacamole recipe. I dont use cayenne or raw onion. I instead use a couple of dashes of onion powder. Other than that the recipe is one that will make some good ol' guac!

Awesome easy recipe. I use this as a base and really tweak it based on the ingredients I have on hand. I go a little light on the onion and used dried cilantro because it is what I had and it worked out fine.
