Good burgers. The addition of the yogurt really added the necessary moisture that the venison needed. Venison is usually dry meat, so mixing in the yogurt was a great addition and helped the burgers stay moist and enhanced the flavors of the onion powder and season salt which I added. Also, we love spicy foods in our household and the addition of the jalopenos could barely be tasted, so next time I think I will add more and perhaps make inside out burgers adding the cheese in the middle of the patty. But overall these were good.

These burgers turned out great! I didn't have jalapenos so I substituted with some ground red pepper for a little spiciness. Next time I'm getting jalapenos simply because I do like jalapenos in recipes, just didn't have them this time. The sauce to go with it was excellent. I took some leftovers to work for lunch and shared some with some co-workers that had never had venison. They all loved the flavor! I just took some more venison out of the freezer and I'm planning on using this recipe again tonight!

Will definately make again. The venison we had was very smokey and I think contributed to this being too salty. I am going to try again with ground turkey or bison.

WOW, fantastic burgers! My wife even commented that these were probably one of the best burgers she ever had. Followed this recipe with no changes and it was great. This is the first venison burger I have ever made that didnt fall apart in the pan, and didnt dry out.

This recipe is great. I used a can of chopped green chiles(what I had on hand) and added 2 cloves crushed garlic. They were awsome. Don't over cook them.

the lime must be the key, this was wonderful! i did add a few extra spices, but i don't think it would have really made a difference if i hadn't.

This is our FAVORITE burger recipe, ever! It's great with ground turkey and lean beef too. We add a dash of Vanilla (or use vanilla yogurt)and It gives a PHENOMENAL taste with the lime! and sometimes an egg since they tend to fall apart, we serve with toasted wheat buns, Oh yum yum!!!

This was a great recipe! I am always looking for ways to take away the gamey taste of venison and this did it!! Burgers are great with or without the sauce and with regular cheese as well!

These were not gamey. We cooked for 8 to 9 minutes on the George Forman grill for 1/2" thick patties. The sauce really is delicious.

If I could give this 10 stars.. I would. For the FIRST time in my history with this website I did not change ANYTHING about this recipe. Seriously.. follow it exactly and you will be pleased. This was my first time cooking with venison and what a hit! The mayo sauce is wonderful (I used fat free mayo and it still tasted amazing). We grilled the burgers until there was no pink and they were still very juicy. WOW! I will always cook venison with the green onions and jalapenos.. what a touch. If you are having doubt.. just make this you will be amazed!

Very tasty. I adore venison, but sometimes find it dry beacuse there is so little fat in it. This was moist and delicious....Will make over and over again.
