This recipe is simmlar to something I have done for years. The cream cheese was a new twist I thought I would try. I did however add some garlic, onion powder and oregano to the meat along with some frozen corn and a couple of small cans of mushrooms. It turned out wonderfully.

This recipe is VERY rich. It was great the first night, but once I tried to have leftovers....it tasted like heartburn waiting to happen. So, we had to throw it out. I wouldn't mind making it again, but I would cut the portions in half to alleviate the heartburn feelings.

I didn't like all the chees in this recipe. Way too much and overpowers the meat and noodles. Would not recommend it!

This was okay, my husband and I felt there was too much cheese, I would do less cream cheese I think next time.

Loved it! The cream cheese and sour cream combine nicely and this does have a lasagna type flavor to it. I didn't have egg noodles so I used radiatore instead. Turned out great.

This was pretty easy to make. I didn't have any cheddar on hand so I used mozzerella. I was a little put off by the cream cheese/sour cream mixture. I think ricotta or cottage cheese would have tasted better, but that's just a personal preference. My husband really liked it. I did put some pepper and italian seasoning into the turkey, along with some canned chopped tomatoes that I had on hand. I did this after reading some of the comments from others. I would make this again.

If you double the tomato sauce then you do no have to cook the noodles- just put them in dry!

Everyone loved this recipe. The only thing I did different is add 1/2 diced onion to the turkey and spiced up the tomato sauce. Very good!

We all liked the taste of this casserole but it was just a little heavy for us. I made just a few changes. I cooked my meat with garlic, onion, oregano and basil as some others had suggested and I added one 8oz can of tomato sauce and a small can of V8 juice. I made sure to undercook my noodles just a bit so they'd absorb the tomato flavor. I also mixed the cream cheese/sour cream mixture right into my noodles which made layering simple.

3 out of 5 of us liked this recipe. It was an easy recipe and had a "just one more bite" quality of taste to it. For some reason 2 of our children didn't like the sour cream/cheese mixture. I still may make this for a potluck, just not for a dinner for us. But it you want easy and yummy, this is it. Definitely a good "comfort" food for cold winter days.

I used the recipe as a base and made several additions to our family's tastes. In addition to the ingredients listed I added 1 diced onion, 3 cloves garlic, basil and oregano to meat when browning. I added an undrained can of italian stewed tomatoes and a pinch of red pepper flakes. I mixed the noodles with the meat sauce. To the cheese mixture I added 1 clove garlic, parsley, minced green onions, pepper and a handful of grated parmesan. I layered the pasta/sauce on bottom and spread the cheese mixture over the top. I then topped with mozzarella, provolone and additional parmesan to continue the italian theme. A creamy, hearty dish. Rich and filling. My entire family loved it including my 3 year old twins and 1 year old. Made enough for our family of 5 with leftovers.

I really liked the cream cheese, it was the best part of the casserole...next time I will use less noodles though. Thanks!

Overall this was a good recipe. I did add a 28 oz. can of diced tomatoes along with the sauce as called for. I also added some of my own seasonings. I will make this again only I will add some more sauce just because I didn't think there was enough. It was a quick and easy meal. Thanks for the recipe!

This was really good, but I tweaked it so much I dont think it wouldve been so good as written. I browned 1/2 an onion and some garlic before I browned the meat. I also added some basil, oregano, salt, blk pepper and crushed red pepper to the tomato sauce. I mixed equal parts cream cheese and lowfat yogurt and used macaroni noodles (cause its what I had). I halved the recipe for an 8x8. It was plentiful and delicious! Serve w/ a big green salad to offset this heavy casserole. :)
