Ground Beef for Tacos

"Very quick and easy way to make meat for tacos, or served over rice. My husband loved this -- it was a last minute meal idea!!! Enjoy!!"

Ingredients

  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1 (1.25 ounce) package taco seasoning mix
  • 2/3 cup cold water

Directions

  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef with onion; drain fat.
  2. Stir in ketchup, taco seasoning, and cold water. Reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes.
