SUBMITTED BY:
Cleora Campbell

"From Bucyrus, Ohio, Cleora Campbell sends this recipe for a beefed-up quiche that doesn't require a prepared crust. The entree is easy to assemble and economical, too, at a mere 82¢ a serving."

We enjoyed this with a few modifications taken from other reviewers. Here are the changes I made. I browned the ground beef with onion, garlic powder, salt and pepper. I added corn when the ground beef was done. I served this with salsa on the side which really made it work. Next time I might add the salsa before I cook it. It's not the most amazing recipe but I did enjoy it.

I cannot believe anyone thought this recipe might be good. I looked at it and thought it might be bland so I added some garlic, salt, pepper to he ground beef while cooking it and then added ground mustard to the egg mixture and it still was completely blah and dull. I do not normally give reviews unless I really like something but based on how bad this was, I didn't want other people to be "fooled" into making it like I was; completely disappointing and a waste of time.

This was excellent--so easy and surprisingly unique! It is very quiche-like. You don't really taste the bisquick--it's more of a binder for the cheese. Next time I'll add a bunch of veggies to it. Very flexible. YUM! Even my pickiest eaters loved it!

This is a good hearty dish that was easy to make. Followed the directions exactly and it came out good. My husband enjoyed it and the best part is it's cheap to make with things you normally always have on hand.

Very easy dish to make but you get what you work for! The taste wasn't bad but the meat was bland & definately needed some spicing up. I served it with cream corn b/c it was pretty dry and needed something moist. Might make again but will need to make some changes.

This is too bland. It needs something else like tomatoes or something. My family did not like it. Probably won't make it again.

I am going to give this a 3 stars because the recipe as it is is terribly bland even after I seasoned the heck out of it with Cavanders Greek Seasoning. Now having said this I begin to think of all different kinds of ways to improve this recipe. I thought of a pot pie type idea minus the gravy but add carrots, corn, and peas. I haven't tried this one yet but it seems like a good idea. I also thought of an Italian version but I am still working out the recipe on that one. The one recipe I came up with was a Mexican one. Keep everything the same in the orginal recipe but add a little more cheese, a can of black beans, a can of sweet corn, and a can of mexican stewed tomatos.

Great recipe, but needed some jazzing up. I added 1 med chopped onion, and 2 cloves of crushed garlic to the ground beef, and browned the beeef. I increased the salt and pepper. Added one can of Rotel tomatoes with green chilles, 1 cup of frozen yellow corn and topped the meat mixture with sharp cheddar cheese. It is a keeper according to my husband

I thought it was ok, my family thought it was bland. I will use more seasoning next time.
