Use this recipe on fresh salmon. It doesn't seem to work as well on frozen salmon that has been skinned.

Superb salmon recipe. I took the advice of another reviewer and baked it at 400 degrees for 20 minutes instead of grilling. Will definitely make again!

Love this- easy and quick enough for a school night! A few tips of my own: sub 1/4 c honey for the sugar; use fresh lemon juice (2tbs); Omit salt and opt for a clove or two of fresh garlic. I line my grill with foil, grill skin side up first, flip, and then top seared fish with thinly sliced lemon rounds for remainder of cook time. Delish!

Wonderful taste! I marinated red Alaskan salmon for 1 day and grilled it skin side up first. Delicious!

I guess I was expecting a lot more out of this recipe. I left the skin on and I think that stopped some of the marinade absorption because the salmon had no distinct marinade flavor. I don't think I will use this recipe again.

Delish! I didn't have all the ingredients so I used fresh lemon juice and chopped garlic. Tasted great!

This is such an easy marinade and flavorful marinade. I seared the salmon on both sides in a pan, but I can't wait to try it on a grill sometime! I will definitely be making this again!

Simply too much soy flavor. It absolutely overwhelmed the other flavors. And too salty even though I used a reduced sodium soy sauce. I will not bother to make this again.

I figuered all those reviews on here for this recipe couldn't all be wrong and I was right! This salmon was moist with the perfect combination of sweet and savory from the brown sugar and soy sauce. I pierced the salmon many times over with fork before marinating and then let it sit for about 4 hours. Easy, fast, awsome!

This is totally amazing! I HATED salmon...this recipe was my one last shot at trying something to like salmon. It worked...we now have salmon Sundays in our house. I pierce the filet with a fork all over and put the salmon in the marinade, usually for a few hours. Hubby grills it while I make a side dish of jasmine rice w/peas and carrots and a green salad w/ginger dressing. My 2 changes: omit lemon pepper and garlic powder. Instead add fresh lemon juice to taste and fresh garlic. FYI, the leftovers are delish the next morning on a bagel w/cream cheese. YUM!!!

I loved the marinade, but the salmon came out dry and I had to add more soy sauce after I served it. After I added more sauce it was delicious and everyone agreed. Thanks.
