I found that this recipe really made the salmon tasty and a bit crispy. I baked the fish in the marinade for 15 minutes covered at 350 in a preheated oven, and then put it in the broiler for five minutes at broil, uncovered w/no marinade. A baking sheet will do, but be sure to spray the pan with Pam (the type of your choice). This fish came out nice and flaky. Keep in mind that I used "light" brown sugar. It was the only sugar in my house. I suppose if you use regular brown sugar or honey (something I'm contemplating for a shorter trip in the broiler) the outcome might be somewhat different and a bit crispier. Another nice thing about this recipe is that it is versatile, and allows each user to customize their own experience, by refraining from including measurements for garlic, lemon pepper, and other spices. It was a great success. My only suggestion is double the recipe!

This is the BEST salmon I have ever had! It is better than any restaurant I've tried. You won't be sorry!

This recipe made me fall in love with salmon. As a kid, I enjoyed eating fried salmon patties with ketchup. Other than that, you really couldn't get me to eat fish. This recipe changed that! I have made this many many times and it's come out perfect every time. Once suggestion is to always grill flesh side down first. The marinade carmelizes on the salmon and is absolutely delicious. Thanks for the great recipe.

This recipe was easy and delicious! The only change I made was to use olive oil instead of vegetable oil. We'll definitely make this dish again.

Didn't have much flavor. We'll have to try this one again, since it got such good reviews. Perhaps it was user error!

Wonderful. I made the marinade as directed and grilled it on a cedar plank which I pre-soaked in water.

This is the second time we tried this recipe. The grilled salmon is moist and with lots of flavor. We didn't change the recipe at all. Thanks

Really enjoyed this. I brought it to my neighbor's for dinner - we all enjoyed it. I was afraid the marinade would be a bit too strong but it was not. It was very nice. I cooked the salmon steaks in the oven wrapped in foil. Nice, moist, and yummy.

Delicious!!!! We didn't have lemon pepper, so just used regular pepper & some lemon juice in the marinade.

We tried this last night and agree with all the raves. This is the best grilled salmon marinade we've ever had. Served it with sour cream and dill on the side. Delish!

This was great!! I followed the suggestion of grilling for 7 minutes with the skin on the grill. I turned it over and the skin pulled right off! Excellent tip!!!

This is the absolute best recipe for salmon I have ever eaten, let alone cooked myself. So simple, yet so delicious. I eat alot of seafood, but normally hesitate to make it for guests just because fish is such a "love it or hate it" kind of meal. I have made this twice now, and it was so wonderful with nice fresh thick salmon filets, that I can't wait to make it for guests. I highly recommend it.

Yummm! This is the best salmon recipe I have ever tried. I serve it over rice with asparagus or green beans on the side. It's one of my husband's favorite meals!

This is an awesome compliment to salmon. My husband claims to not like salmon, yet he always goes on and on about how tastey this recipe is...go figure! The perfect amount of sweet and salty. I've never changed a thing!
