I make up multiple batches of marinade-style recipes like this, and found this especially well suited to freezing. Even after omitting water, the amount of marinade is plenty to season 12 chops divided between 3 bags. To use marinade as glaze, I pour it into a saucepan and boil for a minute while the chops grill.
Although fresh ginger and garlic make tempting additions, I like this without. We put Asian and teriyaki flavors in other recipes, this is special because it is different.
Am setting up plans now to make up more batches with friends this weekend.
