This is our favorite grilled item in the summer. I use butter and olive oil both, and also add a few cloves of garlic. I can usually get about four servings wrapped in one foil pouch. The best part is no dirty dishes for clean up!

This is a great basic recipe. We've been doing potatoes like this for years. I toss in other stuff depending on what I have on hand. Our favorite add in is a liberal sprinkling of goat cheese and sliced portabella mushrooms. Just remember that if you add cheese you need to turn the packets about 4 times to keep the cheese from burning to the bottom.

These are good! I was wondering about the flavor possibly being bland, but it wasn't! The onion does wonders. I was also concerned that potatoes wouldn't get soft enough, because I have tried several similar recipes in the oven and they never get done. They turned out perfect in 30 min on med heat. Very soft and Yummy. My husband and I ate them all up!

I used new potatoes, red onions, and green bell peppers. My only negative was that the potatoes took longer to get tender than the peppers and onions. Wish I would have added those about halfway through to make it great, but everyone enjoyed it and we ate on it for days afterwards. I did not do butter, but instead kept it healthy by tossing the veggies in olive oil and different seasoning to taste.

A little too buttery for my taste and some of the potatoes stuck to the foil. Good but not perfect.

A classic. Been making this for years around a campfire, but never thought of putting it on a grill. Hard to go wrong with this one, unless you don't grease the foil enough causing the veg to stick. I added some red and yellow bell peppers and used Lawrey's Seasoned Salt. Pretty and delicious served with roast chicken.
