This was FANTASTIC! I also cut the pineapple into chunks and put them on skewers. I blotted them and brushed on regular milk with a pastry brush(I don't like coconut). I had no problems with mess, the cinnamon sugar stuck very well. My husband continued to sprinkle on more cinnamon sugar as he grilled them. Needless to say, they were gone in no time. Thanks for the recipe, I can't wait to go buy another pineapple!

I used this recipe but I chunked the pineapple and then soaked them in the cocnut milk, skewered them and sprinkled them with cinnamon sugar. I grilled them the same amount of time

I thought these were pretty good, but not enough coconut flavor. I used canned slices and sprinkled them with a sugar cinnamon mixture. Maybe the addition of shredded coconut would help.

Most of the stuff dripped off of my pineapple even though I dried it per instructions on someone else's posting. I think I would like it just as well just put on the grill without the mess. If I ever made it again I would dip and coat at the grill VERY messy inside!

As with the other reviews, this is a great recipe! To add to this, the best idea is to lightly toast coconut flakes in the oven, then sprinkle them on the pineapple towards the end of grilling. Perfect addition!

I thought these were very good. I followed the advice of other reviewers, and just used regular milk instead of the coconut milk. I thought the pineapple tasted a little liked baked apples...very tasty on the grill.

Excellent. I liked that I really couldn't taste the coconut. These were very nice, paired them with grilled teriyaki chicken. Thanks!

I could not taste the coconut very much, but everyone liked them. I wonder if they could be made without the coconut milk or perhaps sprinkle a little coconut on them too.

I am not a griller so I tried these on the stovetop. I made a mess but the flavor was so good that I am going to play with the recipe. Great idea!

I thought this was good, but what a mess on the grill. The pineapple I used was fresh, and with the cinnamon sugar it didn't taste much like pineapple but was more of an apple taste. Next time I make it, I think im going to do a variety of fruit- apples, pineapple, maybe some strawberries and make a kabob to grill.

We folowed the recipe and then dipped the rings in shredded coconut before putting them on the grill....fabulous! A nice change from the usual side dishes. Would like to try it with regular milk next time instead of coconut milk.

This was a huge hit at my family BBQ. It was so easy. There is one recommendation I'd make, not about ingredients or taste, but about the process. The cinnamon sugar got very goopy quickly because of the wetness of the coconut milk. Next time, instead of dipping the pineapple into the sugar, I'll just give it a generous sprinkling on both sides.

This is a great recipe. I changed it up a bit and skewered (thawed) frozen pineapple chunks and thick slices of banana, rolled in the coconut milk, then in the sugar mix, and finally topped with flake coconut.
