Update: i finally took the plunge and made this simple yet delicious classic with a twist. If you are dieting and cutting back on fat and cholesterol, this isn't the sandwich for you. I love butter and have a preference for my grilled cheese and grilled pbj to be grilled with butter. I know it's decadent, fattening, unhealthy...but you only live once.
I haven't made this yet, only in my head. I thought I came up with a new twist on an old classic pbj. I also thought it was kind of crazy, but now that I see so many others have eaten it, I don' t seem so crazy anymore.
