This is a good way to jazz up PB&J's. The kids love them. I like to use Nutella, also.

This recipe is soooooooooooo delicious! I was craving a peanut butter and jelly sandwich for lunch the other day, and I found this recipe and made it! It is one of the best sanwiches I have ever eaten!

Pure indulgance! Used apple jelly and real butter, fried till crisp. Then spread another thin layer of pb on top. Served to my daughter and hubby with cold glasses of milk. Won me mommy of the year award! Next time will try adding bananas =D

It's good, but not much different from toasting bread and doing a regular PB & J. Plus, it takes longer and gets a pan dirty. Not really worth it for tasting pretty much the same.

These are the best. I always use nice texas toast style white bread for these. Last night I made these with raspberry jelly and also made grilled sandwiches with Nutella and banana. My roommate and I devoured them. Definitely recommend that you try these with Nutella if you haven't already.

My mom made this for me and my 3 brothers as we were growing up. We all loved it and referred to it as "Peanut Butter and Jelly Cooked in a Pan". I still can taste the gooey melted peanut butter and hot mostly liquid sweet grape jelly. I seldom can indulge these days but if I have even just a bite of this sandwich, I am instantly transported to the 50's- sitting at the kitchen formica table eating lunch. Oh, yum!

This really hit the spot... I always make my pb&j on toast, but the thin layer of butter and grilling made it extra tasty. Thanks :)

This is a great little sandwich. I have made it for years but, I always toasted my bread in the toaster then spread the peanut butter on one slice and the jelly on the other. Good Eats!
