"Delicious crispy asparagus grilled on an open flame releases the flavor and makes kids love their veggies! You can add or reduce cook time to your liking. Less time will make the asparagus snap more easily, but cooking longer will make them extra crispy and delicious for dipping. Use 1/2 cup melted butter for dipping." — heather_banzhaf

fresh asparagus, trimmed
grated Parmesan cheese, or to taste
salt to taste
Very tasty. I had really thin spears of asparagus so they cooked in about ten minutes. I used a grill topper so I wouldn't loose any spears to the BBQ.
Used Pecorino Romano cheese....added no extra salt....but added some fresh cracked pepper....delicious on the grill....thanks!
Fast and easy to prepare. All you need is asparagus as you most likely have all the other ingredients in the pantry.
After using this recipe, I actually realized just how good asparagus can be. This recipe is perfect for great tasting asparagus. Since grilling it for the first time two weeks ago, we have used it 3 times so far.
