I made this as-is and it came out wonderful! My kids even liked this recipes and they are not big shrimp eaters. I think next time I will use cilantro instead of the parsley to give a mexican flare.

This was great! Someone mentioned Chardonay so I had a glass and forgot to add the tomato paste and it was still great. I used fresh oregano so I doubled the amount. Made this and served over forbidden rice for hubby's birthday along with a tomato/avocado/mozarella salad drizzled with balsamic reduction. Saved in My Recipes for future reference and I'll try to remember to add the tomato paste/sauce next time. Bon Appetite!

WOW...what great flavor! This is a killer recipe. I had 1 lb of shrimp so I halved the recipe. Used the marinate to baste the shrimp as well as some grape tomatoe and yellow squash kabobs on the grill. The vegies turned out great as well. The shrimp were out of this world. I didn't change the recipe at all, but did a 5 hour marinade, so the zing of the pepper sauce really showed through. I will be making this again.

We do not use the tomato paste because we did not want to open a can just for that small amount. However, it is still the best grilled shrimp ever!

Wonderful meal. This recipe is so flavorful and juicy. I refrigerated the shrimp after grilling & made cocktail sauce to go with the shrimp but it went untouched! FABULOUS and yes I will make it again. No need to be scared of the hot sauce I only put in 1 tbs myself but you couldn't even taste it it is just for flavor.

Wonderful recipe I have made twice in a week, once with shrimp and once with boneless chicken breasts. I didn't worry about adding the lemon juice right before grilling, and instead of skewering them I just tossed them in a grill basket. The chicken stayed really juicy - we grilled it on medium direct heat for 10 minutes each side. The only alteration I made was to delete the salt entirely as I used really strong dark soy sauce. Thanks - definitely a keeper.

Love this recipe! We have had this twice inside 2 weeks. Don't alter at all it is perfect! Remember not to add the lemon juice until just before you grill so your shrimps don't get chewy from the acid.

This recipe was great....only one problem. The recipe says to discard the marinade. It is then to be used to baste the shrimp. The instructons should say to keep the marinade for basting.

Great recipe. I omitted the tomato paste (didn't have any) and upgraded the parsley to cilantro (cause I just love cilantro), but otherwise followed the recipe. The shrimp were a big hit. Thanks.

Easy and delicious. Reduced the amount of lemon juice so the shrimp wouldn't cook in the marinade. Served over lemon-pepper pasta for a simple and fabulous dinner.

This is the best shrimp recipe! Everyone raved over it. I used a lime instead of lemon, as that's what I had, and I prefer lime to lemon with shrimp. I also omitted the pepper, as I don't care for black pepper. Instead of fussing with skewers, we used a grill stir-fry pan, which worked great. This is going to be my go-to recipe for grilled shrimp from now on! (The shrimp we had were kind of on the smaller side, so I only marinated for about 30-45 minutes, and it was fine like that)

Better than shrimp you get at a restaurant! This was a beautifully simple and delicious marinade. I followed the recipe but increased the lemon juice since I love lemon and seafood together. I also used fresh oregano since it grows in my herb garden. Always use more fresh than dried herbs when recipe calls for dried. A few minutes on the grill and it was awesome! I made extra to have leftovers for tomorrow but ended up eating everything because it was so good!! I would love to try this marinade on chicken or fish, just marinate the fish for 30 mins max or it gets mushy. Chicken could go a couple hours. Thanks for sharing this recipe..it will now be a grilling staple!!

Very good!!! I made the marinade as written but used ketchup instead of tomato paste and only used 1# of shrimp. Boiled the rest of the marinade and served over pasta. Fantastic dish!
