These were excellent, I've now made them twice. It just seemed to be missing a little something and I haven't put my finger on it quite yet. All-in-all though, very tasy and a great grilling recipe to add to the rotation this summer.

MAKE THESE SHRIMP! Wow! These shrimp are absolutely delicious! I used the large shrimp I could find (Using the "Grill Cuts" and leaving the shell on during grilling worked well for me). I let them marinade for at 4-5 hours... however adding the lemon juice 15 minutes before grilling. My guests who hate shrimp ate these up. Thanks so much for the perfect shrimp marinade!

Absolutely delicious!! I wouldn't change a thing. For those worried about wasting tomato paste, you can do what I do and freeze it in tablespoon amounts. Drop tablespoons full on a waxed paper lined cookie sheet and freeze for a few hours. After that, transfer them to a freezer bag. You can take out a tablespoon or two at time as needed to add to sauces or marinades. The dollops thaw in just a few minutes.

Awesome shrimp recipe!!!! Used katsup instead of tomato paste, and added a little extra hot sauce for some more kick. Will definitely make again!!

UPDATE: I cooked these for our 4th of July party and I had people lining up for more. EVERYONE said they were the best shrimp they have ever had. So good! SO GOOOOOOD!! I have been looking for a shrimp recipe that resembled that of Outback Steakhouse's shrimp that comes with the "No Rules Pasta". This hit it spot on if not better!!! I think I'll use ketchup next time becuase I have wasted plenty of tomatoe paste by using it only for this and nothing else! But It is delicious!

This was delicious - I threw some steak into the marinade as well and it tasted wonderful. I used cilantro instead of parsley for a little more kick.

OMG! By far the best shrimp recipe I have found. The only change I made was I used Ketchup instead of the tomato paste. I think it adds a little sweetness to balance the spice of the hot sauce. Marinating for an hour or two is key. I've made them three times in the past two weeks. Perfect!

This recipe was delicious! Simple and easy. I served this at our first pool party/picnic of the summer and everyone loved it. I didn't reserve any sauce for basting and it still came out perfect. Very good and highly recommended.

This was not only fast to cook on the gril but really tasty! Everyone loved it. Even our 8 year old and her friend said it was delicious! I used garlic olive oil instead of garlic + olive oil and it was great. I also marinate chicken with the marinade and it's a big hit too. Thanks for the great recipe!

I ahd a dinner party and the grilled shrimp was the bomb! I replaced the tomato paste with ketcup and the flavor was great. I also used the left over marinated to roll skewers of raw vegetables--mushrooms, onions, yellow squash, and zuc's, I put these on the grill about 10 to 15 minutes before the shrimp and they where all done at the same the time. What a great recipe! I think it would also be great on chicken.

Wow!!! I made this marinade for a BBQ and people RAVED about the delicious flavor of the shrimp. It has a little zing to it, but certainly not too spicy! This is one of my new favorites, and in fact, I am going to try it with BBQ chicked tonight! Thanks for the great recipe!!

Great recipe! We used EZ peel shrimp and I think that helped cut down on the saltiness and the grill flare-ups.

This recipe is delicious!!! I am a salt lover, but this recipe was too salty even for me. Next time I will use just a pinch or two of salt. I only had dried parsley and it was still so good - I can't wait to make it with fresh parsley. I will be making this all summer long! Thanks!!!
