This is the best shrimp recipe! Everyone raved over it. I used a lime instead of lemon, as that's what I had, and I prefer lime to lemon with shrimp. I also omitted the pepper, as I don't care for black pepper. Instead of fussing with skewers, we used a grill stir-fry pan, which worked great. This is going to be my go-to recipe for grilled shrimp from now on! (The shrimp we had were kind of on the smaller side, so I only marinated for about 30-45 minutes, and it was fine like that)

Better than shrimp you get at a restaurant! This was a beautifully simple and delicious marinade. I followed the recipe but increased the lemon juice since I love lemon and seafood together. I also used fresh oregano since it grows in my herb garden. Always use more fresh than dried herbs when recipe calls for dried. A few minutes on the grill and it was awesome! I made extra to have leftovers for tomorrow but ended up eating everything because it was so good!! I would love to try this marinade on chicken or fish, just marinate the fish for 30 mins max or it gets mushy. Chicken could go a couple hours. Thanks for sharing this recipe..it will now be a grilling staple!!

Very good!!! I made the marinade as written but used ketchup instead of tomato paste and only used 1# of shrimp. Boiled the rest of the marinade and served over pasta. Fantastic dish!

This was the best. The only thing I changed was I used less hot sauce, but only because I have small children. It was great!

Even my picky 9 year old devoured two skewers of these! I ended up with only half a skewer, because my family went nuts for these. Next time, I'll double the recipe. Only change I made was cutting the hot sauce in half. Excellent flavor, thanks!

My family loved this meal. Served it over angel hair pasta (olive oil & parmesan cheese). My son took one taste and asked if i'd ever been a "cook". Next time I will make extra marinade so that I can drizzle over shrimp & pasta when serving.

I don't know if it's just us, but my boyfriend and i found it extremely difficult to put the shrimp on the skewers and grill them like that! We ended up just omitting the grill and skewers from the recipe and cooking them in the skillet. It still turned out delicious :)

Yummy! I used ketchup instead of tomato paste, added old bay seasoning and I also added lemon zest and first to the marinade, then the last half hour of marinading I added the lemon juice. Very good.

We enjoyed these....ate 2 lbs between the two of us. We ended up putting the steaks back in the fridge and just had shrimp. Next time I will use lime juice instead of lemon to make it more "key westie."

I followed this recipe almost exactly. I didn't have tomato paste so I used 2 TBSP of ketchup instead. Was very good. Also I served this with linguini with a sauce made from the remainder of the marinade and about 1.5 cups of broth made b cooking the shrimp shells with about 1.5 quarts of H2O, salt, pepper and a pinch of cayenne. I simmered the shells for about 30 min. I used 1.5 c broth, leftover marinade and boiled it for about 10 min and then simmered for 20-30 min. I added this to linguini, added 1/4 c fresh parmesan and served. M family went wild for this, it was so good. Thanks for sharing a great recipe.

Wow, were these shrimp yummy! I only had time to marinate these for 1 1/2 hours, but they picked up the flavor just fine. I cut back on the hot pepper sauce because of my little ones, but otherwise I followed the recipe exactly. My 4 yr. old and even my 15 month old couldn't get enough! Thanks so much for sharing.
