Toasted, salty, and tangy, reuben sandwiches are classic! This recipe is made with turkey instead of the corned beef and mayonnaise with hot sauce instead of Thousand Island dressing. This updated Reuben will satisfy with a full and slightly spicy flavor.

'I was first served this hearty hot sandwich at a friend's home,' recalls Charla Sackmann from Glidden, Iowa. 'I couldn't wait to get the recipe and make it myself. The cheesy sauce is a delicious disguise for leftover turkey or chicken.'

Our family looks forward to these day-after-Christmas sandwiches featuring leftover turkey. When presented alongside coleslaw and cranberry sauce, they make another meal worth celebrating.

Turkey and Provolone Sandwiches

Hoagie rolls baked with slices of turkey and provolone cheese and a mushroom/onion saute mixture, then topped with olives, tomato and lettuce. This is a favorite meal with my family. I make it using the turkey and cheese from our local grocery store deli. Note: If desired, spread mustard and mayonnaise on top half of bread before completing sandwich.

A fancy sandwich for a quick lunch. Cream cheese is blended with mayonnaise and shredded cheese, then grilled between slices of French bread.
