3/4 cup butter, softened
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 1/2 teaspoons onion powder
1 1/2 teaspoons dried parsley
3/4 teaspoon dried dill weed (optional)
1/4 teaspoon white sugar (optional)
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
4 inch-thick halibut steaks
I used an air cooker instead of grilling --- always too afraid they will fall apart. In lieu of the individual spices, I used Costco's salt free blend of spices.
