Easy, flavorful marinade for fish. I used red snapper as our store did not have halibut and I had to sub dried for fresh basil. But the result was very yummy. It had a lot of flavor, with a little kick from the pepper, but it did not overpower the fish. I will def. make this again.

We all loved this. It was a hit with the kids, too. I love the texture and flavor of halibut, and simply grilled like this, it's even better.

Ok so let me start by saying I did not want Halibut. I went to the store in search of Sea Bass and there was none. But they did have Halibut. I came home and looked for a way to cook this fish that I didn't really want. To make a long story short....YUMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM! This is a great recipe. Its fast, easy and doesn't overpower the fish. We will add this to our collection of great recipes. Thank you!

Wow - This recipes was incredible. I think it was the best fish I have ever had. I followed the recipe exactly except that I baked it for 20 minutes at 450 degrees and it was delicious. It probably helped that my daughters boyfriend brought us fresh halibut from Alaska. This recipe really did it justice.

What a wonderful way to grill fish. I made it exactly as stated and thought that it did not even have a fishy taste. I used halibut and will use on other fish also. Can't wait to buy some more fish.

MADE THIS TODAY FOR FATHERS DAY! SOOOOOOOO GOOD! Fantastic! This didn't taste fishy at all. We grilled outside med/low heat about 20 minutes. The family members that aren't fish crazy had seconds and thirds! The people that are fish crazy had fifths! It's THAT good. I could eat this weekly no doubt.

I am, at best, an amateur cook. This was easy, delicious, and well received by my family, who tends to worry when I volunteer to cook. My only recommendation would be to use maybe, half or three-quarters the salt. Otherwise it was perfect. I used dried parsley and garlic powder, not having fresh, and it was still wonderful.

The right idea...way too much salt. I couldn't finish eating the fish, it was too salty!

Excellent...I cook a lot of fish and was looking for something healthy and different and this was great. I used canned minced garlic and dry parsley flakes instead of fresh. I also used Sheephead instead of halibut.

Fabulous flavor. My husband grilled the halibut therefore it didn't get over-cooked. The best healthy fish I've had.

The garlic, lemon and parsley in the marinade are absolutely delicious with the delicate flavor of halibut. The tsp each of salt and pepper is also right. I marinaded a 1.25 piece of halibut for just under an hour, then baked it at 400 for 25 minutes. The fish was tender and juicy. We will definitely try it on the grill come summer time!

Good idea but not quite there. I do like this recipe but it needs some changes. There wasn't enough flavor of the marinade in my halibut. So I will probably marinate a little longer. And add more of the ingredients I like. This recipe is a keeper but it will need your own touches.

I am not a fish person but this recipe was the best I have ever had. I marinated the fish over night then just grilled it on my grilling machine for 7 minutes and it turned out wonderful. You could use this recipe on chicken and get great results from it.
