Great Recipe! But if you follow the cooking time exactly, the ribs want to fall apart on the grill. I would back it up to 1 hour. I used butter to saute the onion, adding the garlic after the onion had cooked a little so the garlic didn't burn. Great flavor!

These were great! I did what others suggested and used some seasoned salt on the ribs before cooking. I also smashed the garlic cloves and sliced the onion into thick rings and layered it with the meat in a crock pot. Cooked on low 3 hours. We didn't have any hot sauce and also reduced the oil by half. Used the onions and garlic that had been cooked in the meat in the sauce, just chopped them a little first. I accidentally added the sauce to the top sides right away, so I grilled on the other side until the tops looked sticky, then turned and basted and turned more often to keep from burning. I started with all 4 burners on high, then turned two on low and put the meat over them. I turned those off and on a few times just to keep things going but not burning. My 8 year old said "these are the best ribs I've had in a long long time!". :)

This was really great my husband just loved it. He called me and said baby da** this taste really good and he said it over and over again. I added alittle more brown sugar to mine and instead of garlic I put garlic powder. I also did as another person did seasoned my ribs with seasonal all before I put them it in the oven. But it was really good. Will defintely fix again. This really deserves more than 5*stars. Thanks You for a wonderful meal

This deserves MORE than 5 stars. Hubby raved about them at dinner, ate all the leftover after I went to bed. When he woke up this morning, the first thing he said was "those were the best ribs I've ever had in my life!" I did season the ribs before baking in the oven - about 1/2 tablespoon chili powder, and 1/4 teaspoon of onion powder, ground cumin and seasoned salt. Thank you for a new addition to my rotation!

Very good and easy to make. I didn't have any hot sauce, so I used a chili type spice. Also didn't grill them...I baked them 1 1/2 hours one day, refrigerated them overnight marinating in the sauce, then put them in the oven 2 more hours at 300 degrees. Yummy!!!

I wish I could give it more than 5 stars. This was wonderful. Did exactly as the recipe called (even though i thought 1/4 cup hot sauce was over kill it wasn't), Also I did not grill it but put it back in the oven at 350% for 1/2 hour and basted it with the sauce. I only had 2 lbs ribs so I had extra sauce but that was not a problem, served it on the side. This is a real keeper.

Very easy and extremely tasty! It takes a while from start to finish, but with very little work. My husband doesn't usually like ribs, but loves them this way and the sauce is so yummy!
