Grilled Cheeseburger Pizza
SUBMITTED BY:
Tanya Gutierro
"'I combined our daughter's two favorite foods--pizza and grilled cheeseburgers--to create this main dish,' says Tanya Gutierro from Beacon Falls, Connecticut. 'It's very simple to make, and she and her friends love it. If you don't like the toppings, replace them with whatever you prefer.'"

This was really tasty- with a few *slight* modifications. I layered the pizza crust with a combo of bbq sauce/mustard/ketchup, and then added ground beef that I cooked up in the skillet. Layered with the cheese and put in the oven at 450 for 10 minutes. Added the lettuce and other toppings AFTER the pizza had been cooked. Surprisingly good.

Mega Yum! But****WAY Too much SAUCE**** Do cut down the sauce mixture by half or so (eyeball it). If it looks like too much sauce on the crust, it is. I have used a both a prebought and a homemade, partially prebaked crust and baked it at 450. I wasn't too sure about all the ingredients (baked lettuce?? tomato and onion?) but I used it all and I wouldn't change a thing. TIP#2: Use very thinly sliced pickles, perhaps slicing your own; thick chips were way too salty for the bite.

Made this for dinner and would definitely recommend it! It had too much "sauce" so I will definitely cut that in half next time I make it. Thanks!

This was really good! Instead of using a grill, I cooked mine in the oven. I also added the lettuce, tomato, pickle, and onion after the pizza was cooked. I will make this again.

This was fabulous! I used frozen bread dough (thawed, rolled out and grilled before-hand)and ground turkey sauteed up with a little garlic and olive oil. I chopped the onion, tomato, and dill pickle into small chunks. I didn't measure the ketchup and mustard...just put it on like I was dressing my burger. I grilled up in foil until the cheese melted and cut it with a pizza cutter. An incredibly satisfying dish!

Excellent recipe. Made some modifications for our taste. Used only 2/3s of a cup of ketchup, mustard and bbq sauce combined. Next time for indirect heat will have to turn up to at least med. high to melt cheese and brown the crust.
