Made this for daughter's school lunch. I didn't get to taste it but she said she liked it.

The suggestion for fresh basil was perfect. Sometimes I add a few thin slices of onion and some pepperoni. WOW! Use the sandwich maker if you have one.

We loved it! I used italian bread and it was great. I wanted to serve something other than the traditional american grilled cheese sandwich with my Broccoli soup. It was a hit with my husband and 8 year old.

This is a great recipe. I found it easier to cook the grilled cheese in one of those sandwich grills that do both sides at the same time. We have them with tomato soup. A great cold weather combo.

I absolutely love this recipe! It's definitely better with fresh basil leaves, but if your grocery store - like mine - seems to never have it in stock, dried basil fits the bill. I also use sliced mozzarella since it's less of a mess.

This was very tasty. I served it with homemade tomato soup for lunch. I will be making this again and again.

Loved this recipe! I went to a farmers market and bought a few too many tomatoes. They were so good I hated to let them go to waste. I found this recipe and tried it. The only thing I did differently is used my sandwich maker, which is essentially the same thing. Thank you Tricia
