These were a little too sweet and had a bit of a "different" flavor, but in fairness I changed both the ingredients and cooking method. I used 1/2 as much fresh grated ginger as ground and cooked 4 boneless chops in a 350-degree oven for 20 minutes, broiling them a little at the end. They undoubtedly would have been better off the grill and with a thinner layer of sauce. The texture and doneness were perfect this way, however. Recipes that specify amounts of salt are better, IMO.

I have made this many times now. The only reason I am giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the sweetness. I did cut back on the sugars since the first time making it. I have made it on both the grill and on my electric griddle.

I marinated my chops in apple juice for about an hour before grilling. I also seasoned the chops well with salt and pepper. Came out great. My family loved them.

This was not good at all! I marinated the pork chops for about 30 minutes and they were just bland. Sorry.

My husband cooked this for me on a busy night. We didn't have ginger on hand and it didn't seem to matter. Yum

These are AWESOME! I poked the chops with a fork and marinated them in one batch and used another batch of glaze to brush on them on the grill. Just not sure how to do these in the winter as it is too cold to grill where we live.

This was really tasty. It was a little on the sweet side, but worth it. I marinated it for almost two hours and had some sauce on the side to dip. I will make it again.

I was very disappointed with the recipe. I followed the recipe as written and while the pork was moist it wasn't flavorful. My family loves pork chops....but not done this way.

Great flavor...the only thing I would do differently is marinade the pork before grilling.

Delicious and very easy prep. No crazy ingredients- had everything on hand. I thought the Jack Daniels substitute for the apple juice made the flavor so savory.

I used chicken cutlets - It was delicious! I made 3x the sauce and added the corn starch right away to thicken it. I also added some chopped garlic and McCormic Montreal Steak Seasoning to the sauce. I put the chicken onto skewers and let it marinate in the thickened sauce for 3 hours. I grilled them and basted them 1-2x while on the grill - very good and not spicy - so it was kid friendly.

I was hesitant to cook the pork chop after I tasted the marinade, but I gave it a try anyway. I followed the recipe exactly. The pork chop was nothing but bland with a hint of sweetness. I ended up throwing the dish away and tried to come up with a quick replacement dish for dinner.

I was really excited to make these pork chops, but was disapointed. My fiance and Mother thought they were very good, though. I didn't think they had much flavor at all. I do have to admit, they were very moist. Maybe I'll try again and let them marinade overnight.

My husband who is a very picker eater and who doesn't like sweet, loved this receipe. We marinade first then baste. Very good! Family and friends request this recipe every time.

All I could taste was the ginger and the sauce was thin and runny. I took one bite and forbid my husband from even trying it because I was so embaressed at how badly it tasted.
