This was a easy and good recipe. My husband loved that the applesauce was already in the recipe.

We make this regularly in our house. I don't always have apple juice, so I have substituted with hot spiced cider by the glass. We also marinate ahead of time instead of waiting to apply during cooking. It is SO delicious and has made us look forward to grilling pork chops again! The kids love it too!

I loved this recipe! I'd been looking for something different to do with pork chops - this was perfect. I didn't think it was too sweet at all, but I did have to add a little more cornstarch to get it to thicken. I also marinated the pork for about 30 minutes with an apple juice/apple cider vinegar mixture per another reviewers suggestion.

These were interesting but I think we will be either excluding the ginger and giving it another try or dropping it all together. None of my 5 family members were crazy about the mix of flavors, although we enjoyed the apple and sugar flavor. Not sure on this one.

We loved these. I baked thin porkchops in the oven for 20 minutes, vs. grilling them. We had enough sauce to serve over rice. Great recipe!

I gave this a 4 star rating - because I had to make adjustments so it would really have good flavor. I used peach juice in mine and used garlic and Cayenne Pepper as well. Next time, I am going to use some Bourbon. It's a recipe worth keeping and making uniquely your own.

Good sauce for pork chops! We did not grill them outside as it was wintertime. We just pan fried them in the sauce.

This was pretty good, but I thought the flavor was bland. I think it needed some spice. I will most likely make again, but add something to it. Also, just an odd note- the leftover sauce gels when refridgerated and does not ungel(if that is even a word) when reheated. It does not affect the flavor, just makes it a bit odd to eat.

I give this recipe a 5 star. DELICIOUS!!! Although I made several changes it still came out great. I got some helpful hints from other reviews and put them together. First I used pork chops and chicken. Made the marinate w/about a cup or more of apple juice, almost 1/2 c of brown sugar and instead of adding salt just added more soy sauce. Also left out the pepper. I marinated meat w/marinate for about an hr put it in the oven instead of grilled and brought marinate reserve to a boil adding the corn starch with little water to dissolve the corn starch. Made the glaze which was put on top of meats to serve. Will make this again.

I followed recipe exactly. the sauce was like water, and did not stick to the meat while grilling. so really, all i had plain chops.

I actually used the suggestion to bake it since didn't have the time to start up the grill and do it the right way. It still turned out pretty good. And actually got a complement out of it, as well as someone asking for the recipe. Good one to try.

To cold to grill so I made this in the crock pot. Excellent! I made the sauce using all apple juice and no water, poured into crock pot and added pork chops and cooked for 4-5 hours on high. Turning chops every 2 hours. A hint of apples and not to sweet. Will make this again! Thanks for recipe.

Made in oven because grill is covered in snow. Thought it was a bit bland, but I know oven isn't the best method for cooking chops anyway. May try again in the spring.
