delish! fantastic recipe. thank you! i made it exactly as stated. makes a lot of marinade, more than necessary for 6 pork chops. could probably halve it, or save the left over for chicken in a couple days! i did have to add more cornstarch to thicken it up more, but thats the only change. enjoy!

I don't know if it really fair to give a mediocre rating to this recipe because I cooked it in the oven instead of the grill, so it might have turned out better on the grill but I found it overly sweet. I wouldn't redo this one, at least not in the oven.

Great dipping sauce! I have grilled and baked this recipe. With baking I brushed a little of the glaze on for last 5-10 minutes and cranked the temp up to about 450 and it added a little extra flavor

Sauce was extremely in your face sweet-we prefer a more subtle, well blended flavor. Sauce, as written, didn't thicken at all. Added a tad more water w/2 more tsp of cornstarch & it thickened a little. You'll have to play w/it in order to be able to use it on the grill. The reviewer who suggested marinating in apple cider vinegar/apple juice is right on!! Made the chops sooo tender! I'll definately use that method in the future!

I was also very disappointed with this recipe and will not make it again. Still blah even with the garlic and some bourbon. Really can only taste the brown sugar.

IT HAD A LITTLE SWEET FLAVOR.. IT MADE A MESS ON MY GRILL WITH ALL THE BROWN SUGAR THOU! I ALSO PUT THIN SLICES OF APPLE IN THE SIMMER..I DON'T THINK I WOULD GO THRU THIS AGAIN FOR OUTCOME I GOT.

This was just okay for me. The flavor wasn't bad at all, but it just didn't have enough 'pop' for my tastes. I might try this again sometime because it was really quick to throw together and get on the grill, but I have to go with just 3 stars for now. Thanks :)

This recipe was easy and delicious. My husband who does not like pork chops liked this and said it was a keeper! I did marinate the chops in 1 part apple cider vinegar and 1 part apple juice as suggested by another reviewer, and this seemed to make for juicier chops. Thank you for the recipe!

The sauce was perfect for chops. The ginger gives it unique in flavor. Carefully cook chops on grill and brush on the sauce. Very simple, very good. Server with "The Best Mashed Potatoes"

I give this a four star because my kids did not like the sauce (they thought it was waaaay too sweet). My husband and I enjoyed it immensely, and couldn't wait to gobble up the leftovers. :D What we did differently due to our picky eaters is to place the sauce in a gravy boat and let everyone choose if they wanted the sauce or not. Weirdly, the kids loved the sauce on top of their salads. Go figure. Enjoy!
