I recently decided to try some foods that I hated as a child; asparagus being one of them. I followed the recipe as written, but did add a couple cloves of fresh crushed garlic...YUM! I have eaten two pounds of asparagus in the past three days! I know tastes change as you get older, but I suspect I didn't like it because of the way it was cooked in the past. I encourage anyone who doesn't like asparagus to try this recipe, and if you like garlic I would add it too!
