Excellent! Made this with the Smothered Steak which was also excellent. Added garlic to the marinade and actually marinaded the asparagus for a few hours before preparing. Very good! Who knew??

I wasn't too impressed with this recipe--didn't have lots of flavor, even though I added minced garlic and onion powder. I've only tried asparagus a few times, though, and am not sure I like it anyway. My bf thought they were good, just not cooked long enough (I didn't grill and did it on the stovetop--probably should have used a larger skillet).

This recipe was so simple and even got my kids eating vegies. Try it with brussel sprouts - absolutely awesome (and I hated them before!)

I recently decided to try some foods that I hated as a child; asparagus being one of them. I followed the recipe as written, but did add a couple cloves of fresh crushed garlic...YUM! I have eaten two pounds of asparagus in the past three days! I know tastes change as you get older, but I suspect I didn't like it because of the way it was cooked in the past. I encourage anyone who doesn't like asparagus to try this recipe, and if you like garlic I would add it too! Thank you, Larry!

Boy, I never thought such a simple recipe could be so incredible, but it absolutely is. I have NEVER liked asparagus until I tried this recipe. SO SO SO good. Last night, I brought home Wendy's salads for dinner, and my husband was sad that we didn't have any of this grilled aspargus!!

I like using Garlic salt on the asparagus. Delicious! A nice trick is to use 2 skewers to keep your Asparagus grouped together. Makes it easier to turn them and prevent them from slipping through the grill.

Easy and delicious. I like to give the spears squirt of fresh lemon juices as they come off the grill. Get plenty of asparagus, a few always get sacrificed to the fire gods as they slip through the grill rack.

I have prepared asparagus many different ways, but grilling is definitely my favorite. I add a bit of thyme along with the salt and pepper, which makes it very tasty.
