Very easy, very good dessert. I've made this a few times now. I made a mistake when making this then made it according to the recipe. I prefer my mistake.
I used a golden butter recipe cake mix,3/4 c. white sugar, 1/4 c. brown sugar, 2 t. cinnamon, 1/2 t. ginger, 1/2 t. nutmeg, and 1/4 t. cloves. I mixed the cake mix with 1 c. butter then spooned batter over top and swirled to marble with the pumpkin. I then topped it with pecans. After baking 1 hour, I shut off oven and left for 20 minutes. My kids' friends, family, and ladies group have all loved it. It's kind of between a custard and a cake. Moist and dense. Bonus: it serves a lot.
