I have always breaded and fried my pork chops, but decided to stray from the norm with this recipe and i'm glad i did! It was a really great variation on chops. The only change I made was I sauteed a small onion and some minced garlic in olive oil and used that instead of the water that the recipe calls for! I just mixed the soup/milk mixture in my large skillet with the onion and garlic and added a little touch of flour to make the gravy and it was spectacular! Really moist chops and a delicious, creamy gravy. Served with whole grain rice and it was a perfect complete meal!! Thanks for the recipe!!

Wow, this was good and super simple. I did modify a little since I only had Campbell's Golden Mushroom soup in the pantry. I used 2 cans golden mushroom and added 1 cup milk, 8 oz sauteed cremini mushrooms and 1/2 large onion. The gravy was a little watery, but delicious. It was so simple to make and so good! I usually do not like condensed soup recipes, but this was awesome. Baked the same way. I served with gravy over baked potatoes.

We really enjoyed this recipe. We just tweaked it a bit by adding fresh mushrooms and onions to it and used the left over sauce to pour over the mashed potatoes. It was a hit!

I added red onion and minced garlic when frying pork chops. The family loved this recipe. The gravy was a nice touch as the chops were already flavorful before adding cream of mushroom. I used stuffing, rice and corn as side items to complete.

made this for dinner a couple weeks ago and was really impressed.. thought it was great and didnt understand why people kept saying it was a bland dish.. made mashed potatos and put the remaining gravy over the top of them, was very good.

Great recipe. The whole family enjoyed it. I took the advice from another review and seasoned with Old Bay. Goes great with stuffing.

I got great reviews using this recipe and it was my first time to make pork chops. I added sauteed mushrooms and onions to the gravy sauce, served over rice. Thanks for the recipe!

i did tweak the recipe just a bit. i put the pork chops in a pan and poured cream of chicken and mushroom sauce over them. without precooking the chops. just a tudge of garic clove mixed in with the sauce and spread all around the pan and chops. baked uncovered at 250 till they fall apart in your mouth. (usually 1 1/2 hours or more, depending on chop thickness.)

I cooked this for Valentine's Day along with mashed potatoes and garlic asparagus. We liked it. I cooked up a small chopped onion in the pan before I browned the chops.

After reading the reviews i choose to use 2 cans of cream of mushroom soup, fresh mushrooms, a splash of Kitchen Bouquet for color and flavor, and i baked it at 275 for 3 hours. (Thick Chops) The dish turned out flavorfull and the soup made a great gravy! This recipe is a great starter!! Thank You

Like previous reviewers, I thought it was a little bland. I followed the directions. Perhaps the chops should marinate in the cream of mushroom soup prior to baking. (As long as the soup comes to a boil, you can still use it as a gravy.)
