I have done a variation of this recipe in the past and I was interested to try it with the milk and water added to the soup. the Gravy was great but the pork chops were tough and boarderline dry after 45+ minutes in the oven. the chops were bonenless and about 1.5 cm or 1 inch thick. I will try again but I will cook them longer and slower.

This recipe is much better suited for the crock pot. I ruined some nice chops with this recipe. I took the advice of others and spiced them up some more, then followed the directions as written. I came out with tough chops sitting in soupy mess. My advice would be to not add the water and definitely cook in a crockpot or very very slow in the oven.

My husband loves pork chops. I can't say that I do, because i have never been able to make them tender. So after my husbend keep bugging be to make pork chops i decided to try this recipe. Wow I was shocked that pork can be so tender. I'm also not a big cream of mushroom soup person. It was the best pork chops that I have ever tasted. I also have a very picky family (gees i wonder where they get that from) the whole family loved this dinner. I served it with mash potato's and corn. This recipe is also a very fast meal. Thanks a bunch!

I used 4 thin boneless pork loins so the sauce was a lot. I added a cup of minute rice and it made a great casserole!

It was just okay. Unfortunately, I think the potatos we paired it with overpowered the pork.

I made this with a few modifications. Being on a low sodium diet, I decided to make home made cream of mushroom soup 1 from this site. I breaded the pork chops and browned them stovetop with onions and garlic. baked it all in the oven as directed and it came out great. Had enough soup left over for another night. Will make it again

Great chops, but I ended having to microwave the pork at the end to get it up to 170 degree internal temp.. but great flavor and very moist! I used the cream of chicken as someone suggested and it was great. I had flash fried the chops in sauteed onions and minced garlic, and used extra light olive oil instead of butter. Other than that, I followed the recipe. I served with small quartered potatoes and carrots, drizzled with olive oil, salted, peppered, with a couple bay leaves, some oregano and rosemary. Magnifico!

I hate cooking pork because I always let it dry out, but this recipe keeps everything moist. I made it exactly to recipe the first time, and the gravy was a little bland. The second time around, I added a little parsley, onion powder, and garlic powder to the gravy. I also omitted the water and added only a splash of the milk, which it doesn't really need. It thins out in the oven. Much better!

Well, this was definitely easy! I had 2 very thick chops, so I cut them in half so they would cook in the time alloted. I did as some suggested and sprinkled the chops with Old Bay seasoning and garlic powder (in lieu of actual garlic). After browning, I added a can of drained mushrooms to the pan and sauted. I used cream of celery, since I had no cream of mushroom. Added the mushrooms to it 1/2c each of milk & water. The chops were tender and the gravy was nice. Not a spectacular meal, but certainly good enough to make again. Thanks Jennipoo for another way to make pork chops!

I have never really been a fan of pork chops. My wife likes them so I find myself cooking them every once in awhile. This recipe changed my mind! Very moist and flavorful. I added sauteed garlic, onions and mushrooms. I did not add water at all. I seasoned the chops with Prudhommes Pork & Veal magic before searing them in the pan w onions, garlic and mushrooms. Very tasty. My wife loved them. Served with baked potato & grean beans/mushrooms.
