This was a quick & easy recipe that my whole family enjoyed for lunch. From age 4 to 54, it was a hit! I substituted some ingredients for some people who preferred ham or pepperoni in their little quesadillas. You can do that since they are individual. I will make this one again and again. I used my cast iron skillet to make them, by the way.
These were tasty. I used turkey bacon and instead of peach preserves, I used raspberry. It was a little bready for me, but a change from the usual quesadilla
I didn't have one of those grills you cook this on, so I used a flat cast iron grill & a cast iron skillet. It was OK but I don't like all the bread in it. Sorry! Good flavor though.
Very flavorful! I had some extra filling left-over and used that in a salad. My husband had 3 helpings! A repeat recipe for sure.
This is really good and a unique spin on quesadillas. Quick and easy. Had fun making them with my kids so I will definitely make these again. Next time I will reduce the amount of preserves and increase the amount of cheese.
These were very good. Hubby and Son-in-law devoured them and said that they thought that they were different. Fairly easy to make. Would have liked a little more instruction regarding the contact grill. I used my George Foreman but did not know what temp to heat it to. I tried 350 first and then increased it to 400. I think that the 400 degree temp was probably better. Thanks for the recipe. BTW I followed the recipe exactly.
