Five Cup Salad

Submitted by: Marcy Crossman
Get your measuring cup ready because this recipe is true to its name. There 's a cup of fruit cocktail, mandarin oranges, pineapple chunks, marshmallows, and sour cream. And if you 'd like it a bit sweeter, you can add some shredded coconut. Chill and serve to eight.

It begins with pistachio pudding mix and gets more decadent from there. Let 's see, there 's whipped topping, mandarin oranges, fruit cocktail, pineapple, bananas and miniature marshmallows. Six very generous servings.

I got this recipe from my Aunt Sandy and it is delicious! Plan ahead, because this recipe needs to chill overnight.

Sweet mandarin oranges, crunchy almonds, fresh green onion, and crispy bacon are all tossed together with red leaf lettuce and a light honey mustard vinaigrette. Oh, so good and refreshing. Enjoy!

Fabulous Hot Five Bean Salad

Canned beans never had it so good. You can pick and choose your favorite beans for this dish, because the cooking method is what makes this salad zing. The beans are simmered in bacon drippings and a sweetened vinegar/cornstarch mixture that coast each bean and makes a thick delicious sauce.
