Delicious light custard pie. It was unbelievably easy to make and gone within the same day. I would definately make this pie again.

Now this is what custard pie is supposed to taste like!! This pie is SOOO delicious!! Everyone just loved it...even someone who doesn't usually care for custard pie loved it!! It is very light and delectable!! My husband couldn't stop saying how good it was!! This recipe should really be in the TOP 10, (IMO)!!

You can easily turn this terrific recipe into one for Coconut Custard Pie with the addition of 1 cup of shredded coconut just before pouring into the pie shell. When I did this, though, I found that baking time needed to be increased to 40 minutes. I made it as my contribution on Thanksgiving and my entire family loved it!!!
