This is a favorite recipe for me. My family loved it. Will definitely make again.
Almost as good as my grandmothers.I think what made hers so good is she went to the blackberry patch. Every summer when I showed up I knew my grandfather would drive us out to the woods to pick the blackberrys.To this day there my fav.fruit and fav.desert.Iris Lady
When I made this recipe it was runny and very sweet. I prefer a more dense topping with a little tartness.
I just made this, but I did use 3 cups of berries and 1 cup less of the boiling water and it turned out great !!!!! Will make this again
Excellent recipe. Only change, I added more blackberries.
Pretty good, but I think it needs more cornstarch or maybe mix the berries with the cornstarch and sugar before spreading in pan.
This was perfect. Made both BlackBerry and peach. Did not use cornstarch and it was just perfect
