INGREDIENTS (Nutrition)

  • 1 recipe pastry for a 9 inch double crust pie
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1 cup fresh gooseberries
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 pinch salt

DIRECTIONS

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  2. In a medium bowl, combine sugar, flour and salt. Stir in gooseberries and sour cream. Stir well.
  3. Pour mixture into pie shell and then cover with second pie shell. Cut slits in top crust to allow for ventilation. Bake in preheated oven for 45 to 50 minutes.
