Good pancakes- didn't think they were CRAZY different than some of the nicer mixes. This is good if you have the time to- added a little water for a little thinner batter. Good recipe!

I love pancakes and these were awesome!!! Thanks to other reviews I reduced the salt amount and upped the sugar (vanilla extract and brown sugar for personal touch). Light, fluffy and tasty. YUM!

These are THE BEST pancakes I've ever made. They rise a ton, so are gorgeously fluffy, and melt in your mouth. I even adjusted them to be vegan (1 tbsp corn starch+2 tbsp applesauce per egg, and milk substitute), and they still turned out amazing.

Read many reviews. Definitely allow the baking powder to activate and let the batter sit for 10+ minutes. Must add Vanilla extract! Be generou. Also, add fruit. I added blueberries after pouring the batter on my griddle and they totally anahilated the blueberry pancake recipe here. LOVED THIS!!!

We love these. They are fluffy and tender. I added 2 Tbls. of Sour Cream to them. I like the flavor of them and served them with homemade strawberry syrup. They are marvelous.

This is my first time making pancakes from scratch. I made these as written for my first try. They were good and my daughter devoured them. I felt the batter was a touch thick for my tastes. Next time I make them, I will try to omit the salt, add a touch more sugar and a bit more milk. I may also try some of the other suggestions. I will be making these again though!!

These were fantastic! I used half rice flour and half regular, and they were still incredibly fluffy (and we did sift the flour as well). I also substituted vanilla soy milk for the regular milk, and organic sugar for the regular sugar. All in all, this is my new pancake recipe...so fluffy and quick!!!

These pancakes are amazing! Everyone in my house agreed they are way better then any ready made mix. I chopped up some apples and threw in some cinnamon and they were fabulous! A great base recipe to throw in any add-ins!

OUTSTANDING and EASY! I added a bit more milk (can't say specifically how much) otherwise they were perfect! No more boxed mixes for us. :)

I've been looking for a mix that I can keep on hand and scoop out when needed. This is it. Make 4x the amount, store in a container and you have the equivalent (but better) of boxed mix. Just add milk, egg and butter.

I also did not like this recipe. I followed the directions to a tee and even 'sifted' the flour as someone else suggested. They were so dense and as my boyfriend described "tasted like grits". Even after adding vanilla and cinnamon they were just not the fluffy old fashioned pancakes I was expecting. To each his own.

This is the worst pancake recipe I've ever made. But based on the great reviews, I wonder if I did something wrong. These were so thick that I needed to add more milk to the recipe to be able to scoop out the batter.

I doubled the recipe & added a good tsp of vanilla. Very, very good! Cooked up nice-not too thick, not too thin. Thank you!

I used the extra vanilla, as suggested in a couple other comments. I thought they turned out great, my girlfriend thought they could have used a little bit more flour.

This recipe is great- a simple and classic pancake recipe with a fluffy, light, delicious result! I like how butter is added instead of oil. I added dashes of cinnamon, nutmeg, and vanilla- the spices add more flavor to the pancake!
