I liked the pancakes, only thing is that it needs way more sugar. I must have added about 1/2 cup and it still wasn't enough. The batter is very thick, but it comes out fine..

I simply must say, this recipe saved the day! Every Sunday, my grandkids ask for pancakes, and I forgot to buy more mix this past week. When I saw their disappointment at the prospect of not having pancakes this morning, I decided to try making them from scratch. The only change to the recipe that I made was the addition of some vanilla flavoring. Making pancakes from scratch wasn't as traumatizing as I imagined! LOL Think I'll do it this way from now on!

Just made these for breakfast this morning - perfect classic pancake recipe, and so easy! Everything turned out splendidly; I usually make a healthier version with whole wheat flour, wheat germ, applesauce and almond milk - but it's nice to go back to the good old-fashioned tried-and-true classics every once in a while... Definitely a keeper!

These are the best pancakes I've ever made! We've made them four times in the last couple months and we enjoyed them each time. We always add about a tsp of vanilla and think they are even better when we use 1/2 cup whole wheat flour and 1 cup AP flour.

Excellent. The best pancakes I have ever made. Light and fluffy. The only change to the next time I make, 1/2 the salt, add some more liquid, add 1/2 tsp vanilla.

This has become my go-to pancake recipe. I like that it uses regular milk so I can whip these up on a lazy Sunday morning without a trip to the store for buttermilk. They are fluffy and delicious. I add a tsp of vanilla and some fruit to finish mine off. Completely yummy!

Good, thick but fluffy and tasty all together but there was a bit to much baking powder in there for my tastes. I enjoyed it but I will keep looking for the perfect pancake batter, this was yummy but not quite it for me at least.

This is one of the best "from scratch" pancake recipes I've tried out. The batter was on the thick side, but the pancakes came out light and fluffy. This recipe is definitely a keeper. :)

I followed this recipe exactly. The batter was way too thick and the pancakes themselves ended up being flavorless. I am not sure how this got such good reviews because they were not good.

THIS IS GREAT!!!! i didn't want to put any condiments so i tripled the sugar.i also added choc chips which everyone should!!!! they taste wonderful, you'll never regret this! the most important thing is to tweak the amount of sugar to your liking.don't put any less than specified though, it's alrdy unsweetened as it is. great recipe.

these were very fluffy but the texture wasn't what I hoped for. Not as tender as other recipe I've used.

I just googled pancakes and this recipe came up - with so many great reviews I had to try it. These are the best pancakes I've ever made and everyone loved them. They were light and fluffy and easy to make. I tried someone's suggestion of adding some vanilla essence which was also great. We had them last night for dessert with sliced bananas sprinkled with cinnamon a lsight drizzle of maple syrup and dollop of cream - yummy!

I made this recipe gluten-free by using Orgran Gluten Free All-Purpose Plain Flour and it was perfect! I also substituted soy milk (ended up using about 2 cups) for the regular milk. What wonderful pancakes!
