This pie was very good, but definitely sweet! I followed the recipe as stated except subbed butter for the margarine and cut back on the white sugar because my coconut was sweetened. I used a pillsbury pie crust and used a 9" pie plate, batter looked slightly runny. I also had to cook mine about 10 minutes longer than the recipe states. My only problem was the crust stuck to the bottom of the glass pie plate TERRIBLY! I chilled for 2 hours before cutting and hoping after chilling overnight I will have better luck getting it out of the pan. I think the corn syrup may have leaked through the pie crust.
