I followed the Bisquick directions from the box, but added 2TBS. of butter, 1/2 Tsp. of Ground Black Pepper and 1/2 Tsp. of Ground Garlic and they came out good. They are moist inside and the outside was golden brown and pretty.

I used homemade baking mix and some half and half. I had to use a bit more though as the dough was too dry. I served this with cinnamon homey butter.

I made these two days ago. They are light and buttery. My boyfriend loved them too. We had them with sausage gravy and they were awesome.

Pretty tasty. I added some butter to the mix, and will try some garlic and parmesan or cheddar next time as well.

This was an easy recipe to make. However, for 9 biscuits use 2 1/4 cups biscuit mix and 2/3 cup milk (not 3 cups of biscuit mix). 425 is also too hot, the biscuits were burning on the bottom after they'd been in the oven for ten minutes.

This is just a copy of the Biscuick Mix with a little more of the flour mixture. They are good anyway.

The measurements were wrong. According to the Bisquick box for 9 biscuits you need 2/3rds cup milk and 2 and 1/4 cups of mix. They rolled out fine for me and I had no problem.

All this says is to use milk, no quantity for biscuit mix.

I have used this recipe for decades and they have always been appreciated by the family. I am using it tonight for a stew topper. Fabulous this way.
