Why do so many people think this recipe is for Bisquick? This is a made from scratch biscuit recipe. Search bisquit baking mix, use that recipe then add the milk. A mix can be made from scratch!! These are yummy!

This recipe was extremely dry. There's too much baking mix for the milk. I always read reviews before cooking, and I did his time too. I used half of the baking mix, and even then it was too dry. I used half&half in place of the milk, i added cinnamon and sugar for an extra kick, and added sour cream to even out the dryness. after editing and editing, my biscuits turned out wonderful. My advice is to add more milk when using this recipe than called for.

My husband found this recipe, and decided to try it. He doesn't cook much, so he wanted something simple. He add two packets of Splenda to make a sweeter biscuit...and yes, this is almost the exact same recipe as on the Bisquik box...but it is still good!

I added 1/2 cup of margarine to the dough because my first two batches were very dry tasting. It worked perfectly!

I followed the Bisquick directions from the box, but added 2TBS. of butter, 1/2 Tsp. of Ground Black Pepper and 1/2 Tsp. of Ground Garlic and they came out good. They are moist inside and the outside was golden brown and pretty.
