Delicious! They are moist and tender. So much better then packaged bars from the store.

I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong, but I have tried to make these three times now and I only end up with a crumbly mess that won't stick together. I wish there was a way for people to comment on reviews. Maybe the corn syrup really needs to be boiled to a certain temperature? Oh and people don't throw it out if it doesn't work for goodness sake, crumble it into a bowl and eat it as-is or pour milk on it because if you didn't make granola bars you at least made your own cereal! :D

These were okay. I didn't like the peanut butter in them. I will be looking for a PB free recipe to try next.

I just made these today and they are the best granola bars I have had. I substituted 2/3c honey for the corn syrup as others suggested and also added cinnamon. I also used smooth reduced fat peanut butter and old fashioned oats since that is what I had on hand. The possibilities with this recipe are endless! Best chewy granola bar I have made!

These bars are pretty good. Crumbly unless you increase the syrup/peanut butter mixture almost double. Even the kids like them.

Seriously! So good and SO easy! I cannot say enough that this is a great recipe! I am really happy to watch my kids gobble it right up. It is inexpensive to make, and makes a lot of granola bars. The only thing I did differently is use crunchy almond butter b/c my daughter's school is peanut free. She can now take granola bars to school!! The almost butter worked wonderfully!!

I have tried a lot of granola bar recipes, and usually my hubby gives me the "just throw them away and buy some" line! However, he ate two pans of these and the kids even liked them, too! I used honey instead of corn syrup and added a little cinnamon and wheat germ. They stored great for 7-10 days and we really enjoyed them. Thanks!
