Glazed Sweet Potatoes Recipe Reviews - (Pg. 1)

This is fantastic!! I made theae for my diabetic mother in law and fell in love with them myself. Normally i love the super sweet yams, but this dish had just enough sweetness and a good apple flavor as well. My FIL- who has never liked sweet potatoes, ate 3 helpings. I tweaked it a little. I used Splenda instead of Equal. I put the yams in a baking dish and sprinkled cinnamon on top of them then poured the galze over the potatoes and baked them at 350 for about 35 minutes. It really thickened up the sauce. Dotted the top with butter before serving- yummmmmm! You must have maple extract-it is very important. Try it, you will like it- dont let the artificial sweetener turn you off- I guess you could use regular sugar, but it really isnt necessary.
