**Rating the sauce only** I made my own recipe meatballs- (using sausage and beef and water chestnuts)- I only needed a new sauce- My son loved it- My husband did not like it and afterwhile it grew on me- I thought sauce was way too waterery- I had to use cornstarch to thicken- I would not use again without tweaking- thanks for letting me try your recipe-

Trouble with the meat falling apart. I added some bread crumbs to help out, but I think I needed to add even more. Other than that, the flavor of the sauce was good.

I am rating just the sauce. I used Costco frozen meatballs and then made this sauce to poor over them ... it was amazing. I think we talked more about the meatballs than anything else I served at my holiday party. The only change I made was using 1/2 normal vinegar and 1/2 balsamic vinegar. So if you are in need of a great sauce for cocktail meatballs this one in fantastic!

These meatballs are seriously needing salt and/or seasonings--really bland. The sauce helps, but I feel the meatball recipe itself needs quite a boost.

It was pretty good, but I did think the meat turned out a little dry. I also expected the sauce to thicken, so if I make them again I might add something to help with that.

Just made this, and it was a HIT! This was definitely a crowd-pleaser! I threw them into a crockpot to stay warm...couldn't be easier. Great recipe!

I did not have any sage and used bulk Italian Sausage because that was all I had. The sauce was good but not outstanding.

This recipe was very easy and yummy. I used red wine vinegar instead of white. Will definetely make again!

Makes 16 meatballs. It's ALL of the brag attached to it. Tangy & sweet. You can change the flavor by using mild, medium,or hot sausage. Quick & easy. I suggest using a piece of parchment paper on the counter to make the meat balling a little easier & cleanup quicker. Proud to be the first one to rate this taste treat.
