I took out the coconut, increased the pineapple to 28.25oz, & made the sugar, butter, flour,&salt slightly greater(heeping measurements) . This pie turned out awesome ! It was almost to pretty to eat . My family was thrilled . Thanx for the great idea .

Pie had good flavors. I opted not to glaze it but instead made a pineapple whipped cream with a touch of coconut extract. My husband really enjoyed it better after pie was refrigerated. He said that the warm pineapple was a weird texture. Otherwise pretty good.

I recomend this pie to be made- just follow the recipe and don't put in to many pineapples or else it'll be far too runny.
