Good Recipe. I use half ketchup and half bbq sauce for a yummy sticky glaze. If you use honey bbq or bbq with brown sugar you can cut the brown sugar in the recipe to maybe only 1 tbspn if not out completely.

This was a very good meatloaf. Used bread crumbs instead of bread as per reviews. Also added 1/2 cup finely chopped green pepper and 1/2 pkt brown gravy mix instead of beef boullion granules. Will definitely make again.

I agree with other comments and use 1 cup of bread crumbs instead of the bread. I also double the ketchup mixture part of this recipe - My husband loves the extra sauce on top! Thanks for the only meatloaf recipe I'll ever need!

This was great meatloaf. I've never been a fan of meatloaf (I'm thinking because my Mom's never tasted this good =) but my husband wanted some so I decided to try this. I followed the recipe, except changing the brown sugar to only 2 tbsp as others noted. And, I mixed 1 lb beef w/ 1 lb ground turkey. It turned out fantastic. My husband said it's a definite "redo." My only comment is that I thought it could use some more spices - but my husband is begging me not to mess with a good recipe.

This just wasn't for us. My daughter (who loves meatloaf) didn't eat much and my husband requested my regular recipe next time.

this was really good. I didnt have much ketchup so I used tomato paste mixed with a bit of water. I took the advice of someone else and molded a loaf in cake pan, this allowed for the grease to poured off. Family of 7 loved it

This meatloaf was indeed very moist, almost to the point of being "meat-mush". I followed exact recipe, hate when people change things then make a bad review. Found glaze much too sweet. Perhaps I should have added more acid, vinegar or more lemon than recipe called for. Not my favorite, both my husband and my daughter agreed. Won't be making this again.

This is my favorite meatloaf recipe, the family loves it! I did have to substitute vinegar for the lemon juice because I had none, but it still turned out wonderful. Didn't change anything else.

Yummy, I'm sitting at my computer eating this meat loaf right this very second. I used Japanese breadcrumbs instead of bread, and used a cup of frozen chef's blend that I ran through the food processor instead of just plain onion. I also used a can of tomato past for the meat loaf but I used ketchup for the glaze. Also put in some Ms. Dash, Paprika, and Garlic Powder. Loving it.

This is my favorite meatloaf recipe. The tangy glaze is wonderful and the meat ends up more tender than normal. The recipe is great as is, but we like it even better using meatloaf mix instead of ground beef.

So good! I love the tangy glaze! I used 3/4 c. matzo meal instead of sliced bread and it turned out fabulous. Thanks for a great recipe!

Even the grandchildren that don't like meatloaf love this!! I left out the mustard (didn't have at the time) and added 1 pkg brown gravy mix. Would give additional stars if they were available.

The glaze is excellent. I always make mini meatloaves in a muffin pan. Then they have nice browned edges. We ate this with Tater tot casserole II from this site.
