Very good and something a little different but we prefer less sweet, with a little more spice or zing.

This was wonderful. I halved the recipe as I was only using 1lb of ground beef, I also wanted to make additional sauce as other reviewers suggested but of course I used the last drop of ketchup! I also had to use a boullion cube disovled in about 1/4 cup water. The meatloaf itself came out very very moist and flavorful. It had a nice flavor, with not a single ingredient that stuck out...they all flowed well together. My b/f also enjoyed it. The sauce was very tastey and had I had the ketchup I would have made more. I do suggest to make a little extra sauce. I will be making this again.

The glaze is way too sweet, although it might work nice with babyback ribs. I found the meat to be a bit bland with little texture, even after adding an extra ingredient of fresh chopped garlic. It wasn't horrible, but is wasn't good either. I'm actually shock that it got the ratings that it did. Maybe the expectations of meatloaf are set too low?

This was a good meatloaf. The glaze was tasty -- but a bit too sweet. I used breadcrumbs instead of bread (because I was out). It was good. I just have another recipe that used BBQ sauce that I think we prefer.

I modified the recipe out of necessity: I decided to make meatloaf at the last minute and didn't have mustard powder, so I used same amount of Coarse Ground mustard (has mustard seeds in it). I also didn't have beef boullion granules, so had to 'break up' a boullion cube instead. I did go ahead and double the sauce as others suggested. THIS SAUCE IS AWESOME!!! I don't care for meatloaf particularly, but my husband loves it. The sauce made me actually decide I would have to make meatloaf more often.

I made this and it was so good. I usually do not like sweet meat foods, but this had the perfect consistency. Will definitely make again.

The meatloaf was great. My husband and I enjoyed it, and I'm not usually a meatloaf lover. However, I did find the cooking time to be a bit off. After an hour and ten minutes, the center was not done. It took about an hour and forty minutes to cook all the way through.

I've only had meatloaf twice, and the first time I had it I fell in love with it. After trying this recipe, I wondered why people like it so much. It was very dry and hardy, and it was only good if I put lots of extra ketchup on it. Then again, this might be what meatloaf really tastes like.

Texture and consistency were fine but was just a little too sweet for our taste. Next time will make just the same only decreasing the amount of brown sugar a bit.

This recipe is fantastic! I had not made meatloaf in over 2 years, so I decided to try a new recipe when I tried this one. I did modify it slightly, I added a package of onion soup mix, and used cubed wheat bread. My husband and I enjoyed it very much and so did our 3 kids. It has great flavor and was very juicy too.

I haven't made meatloaf in a long time (just re-learning to cook) but my husband said he really enjoyed it, especially the 2nd and 3rd day. He said the glaze was too much (I made a double batch as suggested), next time I will make it without the glaze.

I did change a few things in this recipe. I used bread crumbs instead of the pieces of bread. I added garlic and shredded carrots to the meatloaf. Very yummy.

This recipe was SOOOO good! I've never made meatloaf before because my husband hates it. I decided to give this one a shot. I used bread crumbs instead of the bread pieces, and the 2 lbs. of ground beef fit perfectly into a 12-cup muffin tin! My husband had 3 "mini loaves" for dinner! He LOVES it and so does my daughter, so isn't a big meat eater! The ketchup topping makes this recipe so great, so I agree with the other reviewers who made extra. It's delicious!!
